Well after a long delay, I want to announce that I have completed the first book in my series of Novellas in the "LOST CHILD" Fantasy series: The HOUSE of GALES.

There are some great illustrated images included in the e-book and I'm already hard at work on book Two which I'm shooting to release for the begining of the year.

I hope that folks embrace the book because I'm sure you're like the ride and the multitude of dynamic characters that I will be introducing

Rob Garrett and I will be at the NYC con sharing a booth with the uber talented N. Steven Harris in the Small Press section of the NYC con this week. Rob and I have been working on the breakdowns and character development for the Tuttz illustrated book. I'll be busy roughing out the initial designs for what most of the cast will look like as Rob continues to develop the story and dialogue. We try to meet up every two weeks to keep things going and will have more updates soon. Here's a shot of the rough Tuttz manual and hopefully there will some real cover art coming down the pike.

Xmoor Studios and Argonaut Resins in collaboration for 2011!!!
Hey all! Rob and I have been wanting to start dropping some info on a new project we're working on that will take us into a new area of publishing. It's time we stretch our creative muscles and show that we will be doing more projects other than comic books! First up is the Tuttz - (King Tutankhamun's cat) a illustrated book project based of my resin collectible company's Argonaut Resins award winning cat figurine in which (my publishing partner in crime/ Xmoor Studios head honcho) Robert Garrett will take on the writing duties. I will be collaborating with Robert to develop the story and characters and we will be putting together a new art team to help illustrate the book and will show some of the progress images very soon! The teaser add from photos taken by The One Cam and Randy Ortiz of When Giants Meet who covered my set up at Toy Fair (thanks guys!) February 19th (NYC) Xmoor Studios very own writer/creator Robert Garrett will be on hand to sign comics and talk shop on Black Comic Book Day at the the Hue-Man Bookstore and Café in Harlem, 2319 Frederick Douglass Blvd, between 124th and 125th Streets.
Robert Garrett (Galtow, Inheritors, Ajala) will be appearing with syndicated cartoonists Jerry Craft (Mama’s Boyz), Ray Billingsley (Curtis) and artists N. Steven Harris (The Fringe and Ajala), Alex Simmons (The Cartoon Life of Chuck Clayton), comic historian Professor Bill Foster and more as they unveil their rack of indie comics.

As we work towards the New Year I've decided to keep the creative juices flowing and I'm Currently working on various project that will put Xmoor Stdios into a broader spotlight.

The script for next issue of AJALA has been completed and I'm am replotting GALTOW book five so that we will be going into next year with a full head of steam.

One of the other projects I've undertaken is the retooling of an original Screenpay called VINTAGE VAMP... Let's just call it my intense psychological thriller in the vain of Twin Peaks meets Hitchcock.

Well with the completion of the screenplay I've decided to enter the Screenplay into the freshly announced Amazon Studio contest. I'm hoping that you guys will go and read the script tell a few friends and comment giving the panel of Judges something to think about. Here's a little background story info for all of our new readers -
GALTOW
Set in the year 2015, GALTOW centers upon four characters: The silent master JIYA, The massive warrior KEYLON JAKES, the flamboyant Ninja WU REYMOS, and the psychotic LADY CAFA as they fight to survive a post-apocalyptic New York. The main story takes place almost twenty-five years since the conclusion of The Second Vietnam War. The cities of the once proud United States are in constant turmoil, the result of conflicts fought over the years between the Great Clan Houses now acting as the ruling bodies after a disastrous civil uprising, from the ashes of the broken government Warrior Clans are now social classes, enlisting men and women who have embraced the codes of warriors from ancient Credos of the Ninja, Samurai, and Yakuza. Fighters from all walks of life wage violent battles in the streets hoping to gain the attention and respect of the elite fighters. So after countless back and forth issues and a lot of holding our breath, Xmoor Studios is happy to announce that:

Updating news for Xmoor Studios, Eric and I have been keeping it under wraps for a minute…, but now that the project is near completion we felt that it’s time to let the cat out of the bag.
Xmoor Studios will be soliciting our properties on iTunes! Issue #1 is currently being developed into the proper format and we’ve added a few modifications to the book, captions and dialogue, as well as it being in full color. We are calling the book GALTOW#1- Director’s Cut. So everyone be on the look out as we will be announcing the release date for this new direction for our studio. Hey all - Rob G. will be at the the Bronx Heroes Comic Con tomorrow sharing a table with Lockett Down's Regine Sawyer. It's the first annual Convention Saturday March 14, 2009, from 12pm-5pm. It's being sponsored by the Longwood Art Gallery at Hostos College and admission is FREE!!!

Welcome everyone to our first News update of the year.
Xmoor Studios has been low key on the information sites as Eric and I have been working tirelessly to develop our Intellectual Properties and take the next steps towards getting a bigger audience to embrace our books. Xmoor Studios will be at this February’s New York Comic Con (Feb. 6 - 8) at booth # 948, sharing a space with our traveling partner the fantastic illustrator Steven Harris creator of BrotherHood of the FRINGE, and artist for countless fan fave books for Marvel DC, Image and other publishers. We will also be there with our new partners in crime Shimmer Media who are developing a sensational teaser trailer for GALTOW using 3d CGI effects. Here’s a taste of what will be seen at the show:

We will also debut The GALTOW trade edition at the show… Issues #1 & #2 have been colored and given a whole new attitude. We have also included issues #3 and the unreleased Galtow#4, along with some other goodies and pinups:

There is so much more going on and I will be updating everyone soon on those news fronts but for now look, enjoy and hope to see some of you at the show!

Moving Forward and Onto the Screen!

Hello folks,
Rob Garrett here to do some much needed updates on the current status of Xmoor Studios.
Eric and I had such a busy summer... trying to keep the promotional front going and making sure that we completed the fourth issue of GALTOW. We feel so fortunate to have Joel Carpenter come on board and complete the book.
As I have said so many times before self publishing is not for the faint of heart, and we have had several bumps in the road..... But that has really made our determination to succeed even stronger.
Recently we promoted at the New York Anime Festival at the Javitt center. We did not have high expectations after the first day of the show.... It was rainy, cold, and mostly everyone was looking for whatever animation show was currently catching their attention. The costumes were great and the kids were having a ball... Sales really weren't going strong. But Saturday and Sunday were the complete opposite! We sold a lot of books, and gained countless fans who were feeling our books. It turned out to be a good time, and we can't wait to do it again next year.

The upcoming GALTOW Trade Paperback will be ready for the Christmas Holidays and we have quite a few goodies from some great up and coming artists to fill out the book. The colored version of issues #1 and #2 are just looking awesome! Colorist Jay Aguilera's digital skills have brought a new feel to the artwork that really makes the pages pop!We are so looking forward to going out into the international market with GALTOW because we are still just getting notice from the huge comic market... And so far they seem to like GALTOW!

Now onto some really big News!
Xmoor Studios has signed a Film and Gaming development agreement with a Hollywood Producer/Director!
This is a deal that will develop a live action film for our flagship series GALTOW. Slowly but surely we have been putting into place and contacting people who can help us to achieve this goal. We've also caught the attention of the largest International Stuntman group who have worked on films such as 300, The Matrix, and the upcoming Wolverine Movie....
These gentlemen are really excited to bring the world of GALTOW to the screen, and trust me - Eric and I are elated to see that this project is coming to a reality.
Right now things are slowly forming as a screenplay has started to develop and we await the addition of a Hollywood studio to distribute the film. But it is no longer a matter of if there will be a GAlTOW movie.... it's now a matter of when! We still have a ways to go before the filming can go on.... And wait until you hear some of the casting deals!

Also, we will be developing the GALTOW video game to coincide with the film... And we are also Hard at work on a possible animation project..... Here at Xmoor, Eric and I never sleep.... Well not until we collapse...lol

Now it's time to prepare for the New York Comic Con in February!

Anime Con!!!

Xmoor Studios will be exhibiting at this years Anime Festival - September 26 - 28 at the Jacob Javits Center NYC. We will be there with our good friend N. Steven Harris (Marvel, DC, Image fame) in Artist Alley at tables #42 and #43.

We also hope to have a very limited run of convention special issues Galtow #4 with a uber kick butt all pencil cover by N. Steven Harris. Check our main website for a sneak peak of that awesome cover by Mr. Harris. See you at the con!!!
